Florida Georgia Line Call Tim McGraw “Legendary”

New Collaboration Set for Release This Summer

Any time a country band tells you they have “a little news,” it usually means they have big news.

And this time, the big news is Tim McGraw.

In a new interview with Country Countdown USA, Florida Georgia Line revealed the album they are working on right now is going to feature a song with McGraw.

“We’ve got a little news,” the duo’s Brian Kelley says. “A collaboration with Mr. Tim McGraw on our new album. We’re super excited. It sounds amazing. The song is great. The song is a big anthem.”

Kelley also said that it sounds good because McGraw brings so much life to the song.

“His voice is legendary,” he says.

Tyler Hubbard agrees, saying, “We really just wanted to hear Tim McGraw’s voice on it.”

Kelley explained that he and Hubbard were able to spend some time with McGraw in Las Vegas during Academy of Country Music Awards weekend and that it all came together quickly.

“He loved the song and wanted to put his voice on it,” he said.

And even though Florida Georgia Line didn’t give away the name of the new tune, they described it as “‘Round Here’ meets ‘Dirt.’”

The album is expected to be released late this summer.
