On August 5, people all over the world are going to be glued to their TVs as the 2016 Olympics will begin in Rio de Janeiro. The Band Perry's "Live Forever" was chosen to be Team USA's official song for the games. The trio stopped by NBC's Today to share the news and perform the hit song.

Kimberly Perry talked about why the song is a good fit for the USA Team saying, ""Live Forever" is really about those moments that make you feel like you're going to live forever and that really is the spirit of the Olympics. We're really honored to bring this song to those guys."
