Carrie Underwood: Managing Expectations for Mother's Day

Son Isaiah Will Be With Her … Wherever It Is

Not so fast, Carrie Underwood.

In this recent interview with E!, she says she isn’t expecting much this year for Mother’s Day. It's her second one since becoming a mother early in 2015.

“I think I’ll be on the road,” she says.

And wherever she goes, her 14-month-old son goes.

“Isaiah is here with me," she says. "He goes everywhere with me. But I don’t think my husband will be able to orchestrate any Mother’s Day activities. Maybe just room service and a nice big breakfast.”

But actually, her husband Mike Fisher is free on Mother’s Day -- the current Nashville Predators schedule is wide open that day-- and Underwood's own schedule is actually open on May 8, too. So maybe, just maybe, she could fly home from her May 7 show in North Dakota and spend Mother’s Day at home with her two guys.

A girl can dream, right?
