Ladies and gentleman, meet Margo Price.
The Illinois native is bringing classic back to new country with her debut album Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, which debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard country albums chart.
A longtime fixture in the local music scene in Nashville, Price was one of the city’s greatest hidden gems until her music caught the eye of Jack White, who quickly signed her as the first country act to his Third Man Records label.
Though Price’s musical journey is seemingly just getting started, she’s already notched many magical moments on her rhinestoned belt: performing on the Grand Ole Opry and appearing as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. And that’s only the half of it.
See her shine in the debut single, “Hurtin’ (On the Bottle).”
