The Cadillac Three pretty much had no choice but to play music for a living.

Regular shows at the Grand Ole Opry and rocking out to ‘90s rock alternative were part of every day life growing up in Nashville. To this day, the talent that rolls through town spoils local music fans rotten.

“I think my first show was the rock band Bush,” front man Jaren Johnston says. “Plumb and the Toadies [were] all together at Memorial Gym. I remember crowd surfing and feelin’ like I was gonna die but also feelin’ so alive. I was like, ‘That’s I wanna do.’”

Drummer Neil Mason remembers seeing Smashing Pumpkins when the rock band was at its peak. “It’s still, to this day, the loudest show I’ve ever seen,” Mason says. “I just remember, and they were really kinda right at their peak, and I just remember bein’ completely blown away by that. I had already started a band but I hadn’t seen the really big arena show yet. It really had a big influence on me.”

Then there was Garth Brooks.

Johnston adds, “My dad played drums -- still does at the Opry -- and I remember seeing Garth with the headset mic. … It was just crazy. I remember bein’ like, ‘That’s how you do it.’”

TC3 headlined a free club show at Nashville's The Basement last night (May 25) to announce their full length album Bury Me In My Boots. The collection lands August 5 and features new songs "Graffiti," "Soundtrack To A Six Pack" and "Drunk Like You."

TC3 are on Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots tour this summer with Cole Swindell and Kane Brown. The trek comes to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Oct. 13.
