The Big Night Is Almost Here

We’re just one day away from Wednesday’s (June 8th) 2016 CMT Music Awards, and we can hardly contain our excitement.

Seriously. We’re like this.

But how do we pass the time until 8 p.m. ET/PT tomorrow? Counting up everything we can’t wait to see, of course.

  1. The Opening

    The show opening never disappoints, and Kellie Pickler gave us a little preview of what to expect this year.
  2. Cam and Fifth Harmony‘s Collab

    Two words: Girl power.

  3. Cassadee Pope with Leona Lewis and Pitbull
    The CMT Awards are always home to some amazing collaborations, and this one will be nothing short of epic.
  4. Carrie Underwood‘s Pipes

    Let’s face it, Underwood always brings it when it comes to award shows, and we know the CMT Awards will be no exception.

  5. The Firestone Stage

    They may be newbies to the country music world, but we’re 100 percent positive Michael Ray, Maren Morris, LOCASH and Brothers Osborne are going to crush it.

    We’re so happy to see Erin Andrews back for a second year of hosting, and we know J.J. Watt will be hilarious.

    Jason Aldean and Thomas Rhett are going to take the party outside of Bridgestone Arena, right on to Broadway.

  11. Different for Girls

    Ever since we heard the track on Bentley‘s new album “Black,” we’ve been praying to see him and Elle King duet live. Looks like we will finally get the chance.

  12. The Video of the Year

    The final five nominees will be announced tomorrow (June 8), and voting will be open throughout the show.
