Florida Georgia Line Sharing Personal Moments at 2016 CMT Music Awards

Duo's Awards Show Performance Will Feature Videos and Photos From Their Weddings

Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard will be sharing videos and photos from their respective weddings during their performance on the 2016 CMT Music Awards. The show airs live Wednesday (June 8) at 8 p.m. ET/PT from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Brian Kelley married Brittney Marie Cole in 2013 during a ceremony near Nashville, and Hubbard wed Hayley Stommel in 2015 in Idaho.

“Tyler and Hayley have some of the most amazing wedding footage I think we’ve ever seen, so we’re excited for everybody to see that and just share our lives with everybody,” Kelley said during rehearsals for the awards show.

Both members of the duo have repeatedly emphasized the importance of sharing details of their lives with fans.

“The fans mean everything,” Kelley said. “They speak the loudest, and that’s what’s the coolest. They’re always there for us. They’re very loyal, whether it’s on social media, at our shows or award weeks like this. It’s very special.

“It feels good to show up and know they’re voting. Their loyalty is unmatched.”

Hubbard said the CMT Music Awards show provides another opportunity to spend time with the fans and other country music artists.

“All the artists love getting together,” he said of the ceremony. “It’s something we look forward to. The beers start flowing and the next thing you know, we’re having a good time.

“It’s a laid-back atmosphere in general, anyway, so it sets us all up to just have a good time and enjoy the moment. Just kind of take it all in and have a party, really.”
