Singers and musicians have to know they’re connecting with their peers when they look into the audience and see Keith Urban singing along with them, especially on a song that was released less than two weeks ago.
That was the scenario Wednesday night (June 8) at the CMT Music Awards when Dierks Bentley and singer-songwriter Elle King teamed up for “Different for Girls,” a track from his new album, Black.
With King singing and playing banjo, the thought-provoking lyrics provide a commentary on some of the basic differences between the sexes.
