Kenny Chesney Reschedules 'Some Town Somewhere' for October

P!nk Guests on New Album

The release date for the new Kenny Chesney album Some Town Somewhere has been moved to Oct. 28. The collection was originally due out on Friday (July 8).

The good news is the album will feature a new P!nk collaboration titled “Setting the World on Fire,” written by hitmakers Ross Copperman, Matt Jenkins and Josh Osborne. According to a press release, Chesney met the Grammy-winning pop singer while spending time in California.

The announcement comes days after he entertained 47,111 fans at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field on Saturday (July 2) with Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion.

During Billy Joel's Friday night concert at Pittsburgh's PNC Park, Chesney made a surprise appearance on “You May Be Right” from Joel’s 1980 album, Glass Houses.
