Jason Aldean's 'They Don't Know' Arrives Sept. 9

Announcement of New Album Coincides With His Latest No. 1 Single

Jason Aldean's new album, They Don't Know, will arrive Sept. 9.

Monday's (July 11) announcement of the title and release date coincides with his current single, "Lights Come On," topping the Billboard country airplay chart.

“I really wanted to start this new album with one of those big up-tempos," Aldean said. "So, for it to click right away with fans and radio is a really cool way to start. With all the records we’ve done, we’ve been able to explore new sounds and really just do things our own way, and that's sort of what the title track is all about."

Longtime producer Michael Knox produced They Don't Know with the same band Aldean has recorded and toured with for the past 10 years.

On June 19, Aldean's headlining appearance at Chicago's Windy City LakeShake was taped for first-ever CMT Concert of the Summer special to air later this year. His Six String Circus tour with Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses continues this week with shows in New York and Michigan.
