Willie Nelson: “I’ve Smoked Enough and I Want to Give Back”

Concerts to Launch Willie’s Reserve Brand

Willie Nelson and Family will celebrate the launch of the country legend’s premium cannabis brand, Willie’s Reserve, with shows Saturday (July 23) in Redmond, Washington, and July 30 in Greenwood, Colorado.

The line will be available in select marijuana vendors in Washington and Colorado by August, with plans to expand to future legal states as herb advocates seek to end marijuana prohibition in the U.S.

Willie’s Reserve products include disposable vaporizer pens, concentrate cartridges, packaged cannabis flower and pre-rolled joints called “ready rolls.”

Plants grown for Willie’s Reserve are cultivated by independent farmers following the Farm Aid mission to support environmentally safe growing practices.

“I’ve smoked enough, and I want to give back,” Nelson said in a press release. “Now that legalization is spreading across the country, there’s a great opportunity to build a company that can help a lot of people. I hope it gives social justice to those who are incarcerated for doing what we’re now doing legally.

“I am also committed to have our crops farmed in an environmentally responsible way; to revitalize small farms and to grow it as clean as possible. So far, I’ve really enjoyed meeting with the best growers.”
