Keith Urban and Miles Teller Do the Temptations

Sing “My Girl” Live in Albuquerque

Hollywood actor Miles Teller is probably driving his Bronco listening to Bob Seger right now, according to his Twitter bio.

But over the weekend, he had more than just Seger tunes in his head.

Teller joined Keith Urban on stage at Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday (July 23) night for a surprise duet of the Temptations' 1965 hit, "My Girl."

In a performance clip online, Teller starts strong and sounds a lot like Gavin DeGraw. But when Urban lets him take the verse after the chorus, Teller gets his birds mixed up with the bees.

He sang, “I got so much honey, the birds envy me,” when the correct lyrics are, “I got so much honey, the bees envy me/I’ve got a sweeter song than the birds in the trees.”

How'd the two connect? Maybe because Teller's first role was in 2010's Rabbit Hole when he played a teenager who runs over and kills the son of Nicole Kidman, a role that only earned him $5,000. In a 2014 interview with Vulture, Teller revealed he played saxophone and drums in a church youth-group band - “Hard-rocking for Jesus.” Additionally, he drummed his hands off in the Oscar-winning film Whiplash.

Back in Albuquerque, Urban treated Brett Eldredge, Maren Morris and the musicians on the Ripcord tour to a night at the movies.
