New Charlie Daniels Exhibit Coming to Country Music Hall of Fame

Million Mile Reflections Opens Sept. 23

The life and career of 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Charlie Daniels will be spotlighted in the new exhibit, Charlie Daniels: Million Mile Reflections.

Opening Sept. 23, the display will feature instruments, stage wear, manuscripts, awards, childhood mementos and previously unreleased photos from his personal collection.

“I can’t even articulate how honored I am by this exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” Daniels said in a press release. “I couldn’t think of a better name myself unless it would be ‘Five Million Mile Reflections.’”

Representing the Veteran’s Era category, Daniels will be inducted into the Hall of Fame with the legendary Randy Travis and record man Fred Foster during the invitation-only Medallion Ceremony on Oct. 16 in Nashville.

His 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam is set for Nov. 30 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena with special guests Chris Stapleton, Kid Rock and Larry the Cable Guy.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the military non-profit Journey Home Project, which supports veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.
