The Best Instagrams From Oregon Jamboree, Watershed and Lollapalooza

Relive the Festival Magic Without the Crowds

Over the weekend, Instagram captured some major music memories at the 24th Oregon Jamboree, the opening weekend of the Watershed Music Festival and Lollapalooza in Chicago.

The Oregon Jamboree in Sweet Home, Oregon, drew approximately 15,000 music fans a day for headlining sets by Carrie Underwood, Aaron Lewis and Toby Keith. Lewis was added as Saturday night’s (July 30) headliner following the passing of Country Music Hall of Famer Merle Haggard in April. Proceeds from the event will support economic development and charitable projects in the area, and CMT Hot 20 Countdown was also on site capturing the action.

Over the weekend at both the Oregon Jamboree and Watershed, the Hag’s sons Ben and Noel Haggard performed show-stopping tributes to the late Country Music Hall of Famer with his longtime band the Strangers.

During his Oregon Jamboree set, Neal McCoy paused to lead the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Rocking rolled up sleeves and cut-offs, Underwood brought at taste of her Storyteller tour to the Oregon Jamboree.

Lewis closed night two of the Oregon Jamboree with a mix of hits and selections from his upcoming album Sinner, which lands Sept. 16.

The Big Dog Daddy closed the three-day the event with a Red Solo Cup in hand.

At the gorgeous Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington (good luck saying that five times fast), Watershed’s night two headliner Jason Aldean got hands waving during “Dirt Road Anthem.”

Backstage at Watershed, Brett Eldredge’s precious pooch Edgar took his first swim.

Dee Jay Silver was the official after-party soundtrack at Watershed’s Next From Nashville stage.

Keith Urban rocked the official Watershed uniform for his closing set of weekend one. Weekend two continues Friday (Aug. 5).

Among the few country acts at the 25th Lollapalooza, Chris Stapleton attracted a sea of thousands of fans for his debut at the Chicago event.

Songstress Kallie North from the rising duo Muddy Magnolias struck a model pose while making her way to the stage for the act’s first Lollapalooza performance.

Onstage at Lolla, North’s Muddy Magnolias partner Jesse Wilson channeled her inner Tina Turner.
