Cole Swindell to Headline CMT on Tour

Roadwork Begins Oct. 26 at Historic Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa

Cole Swindell will be headlining this year’s CMT on Tour which kicks off Oct. 26 at the historic Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rising newcomers Cole Taylor, Travis Denning and Jon Langston will be joining him on select dates for what is being billed as CMT on Tour Presents the Cole Swindell Down Home Tour.

Following two previous sold-out tours, the third annual headlining tour kicks will continue through December. As with his previous runs, Swindell will celebrate the intimate club tour with the release of a brand new collection of music for the fans. His Down Home Sessions III EP will be available digitally on Oct. 28 via Warner Bros/Warner Music Nashville.

“I can’t wait for my Down Home Tour this year and am really excited to partner with CMT this time,” Swindell said in announcing the roadwork. “The fans in these cities and towns have been behind me since I first played in these clubs — supporting me in every way, sending me Facebook messages and tweets.

“They have called radio stations to request my songs and spent their hard-earned money to buy my CDs and concert tickets. I have always looked at this tour as a way to get back ‘Down Home’ where they gave me my start and just to say thank you.”

The world premiere of the video for Swindell’s current single, “Middle of a Memory,” will take place this weekend across CMT’s broadcast, online and social platforms. CMT Hot 20 Countdown will host the broadcast premiere on Saturday (Aug. 20) at 9 a.m. ET/PT. The online premiere will happen simultaneously at
