Carrie Underwood's Week in Tweets

She Has Been All Over Nashville and Social Media

Remember when Carrie Underwood wasn't even on Twitter? Then in 2012 she started embracing social media and almost overnight started connecting with more than 5 million followers?

Now that she's been at it for four and a half years, she really has the hang of it. Especially when she has weeks like this last one where she was not on the road, and was able to be out and about in Nashville. And tweeting all along the way.

On Aug. 12, she shared a photo from her Grand Ole Opry appearance.

The next day, after Lauren Alaina posted her photo with Underwood, she replied, "I'm lucky to know you, @Lauren_Alaina!!!"

After the new Sylvan Heights gourmet marketplace and restaurant Salt & Vine welcomed Underwood for a meal, she posted her thoughts. "Restaurant review: Nashville, Salt & Vine = amazing! From the food to the wine to the company. It may be my new favorite place! @saltandvinenashville"

Then she offered a video from last week's No. 1 party in Nashville.

On Monday, after syndicated radio personality Bobby Bones put her on his list of artists you need to see live, Underwood responded gratefully. "I'm honored! So blessed to get to write and sing for a living. Thanks, @mrBobbyBones for including us in the list!"

Then on Tuesday, after Southern Living posted their cover story about her CMA hosting gig, she retweeted their photo, adding, "The look on my face as @BradPaisley is talking...ha ha ha!"

By the end of the week, she'd offered another announcement.

Underwood's tour starts back up on Aug. 31 and continues through the end of November.
