Justin Moore Lands on Albums Peak With Kinda Don’t Care

Dan + Shay’s “From the Ground Up” Tops Country Airplay List

Justin Moore’s Kinda Don’t Care debuts at No. 1 this week on Billboard’s country albums chart. It achieves that eminence on initial sales of 37,050 albums, according Nielsen SoundScan’s count.

Dan + Shay’s “From the Ground Up,” now perches at the top of the country airplay songs chart, culminating a 29-week trek.

Two other new albums also crack the Top 5 list — Cody Jinks’ I’m Not the Devil (No. 4 with 11,331 copies sold) and the eponymous Dylan Scott (No. 5 via 9,132 units scanned).

The week’s only other new album is Upchurch’s Chicken Willie, which enters at No. 22.

Martina McBride’s Reckless returns to the chart at No. 48.

Eric Church’s Mr. Misunderstood takes a giant leap from No. 20 to No. 6.

There are three new songs clamoring for our attention — Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” bowing at No. 48, Lauren Alaina’s “Road Less Traveled” (No. 57) and Chase Rice’s “Everybody We Know Does” (No. 60).

Toby Keith’s “A Few More Cowboys” bounces back into the chart at No. 58.

The No. 2 and No. 3 albums this week, respectively, are Blake Shelton’s If I’m Honest (last week’s No. 1) and Chris Stapleton’s Traveller.

Rounding out the Top 5 songs cluster, in descending order, are Sam Hunt’s “Make You Miss Me,” Kelsea Ballerini’s “Peter Pan,” Jake Owen’s “American Country Love Song” and Justin Moore’s “You Look Like I Need a Drink.”

Last week’s top song, Jon Pardi’s “Head Over Boots,” tumbles to No. 9.
