Haggard died in April at age 79.

Lambert will receive the award Tuesday during the ACM Honors ceremony at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Hosted by Lady Antebellum, the event will include performances by Lambert, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, The Band Perry Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Dan + Shay, Toby Keith, Alicia Keys, Maren Morris, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban and Chris Young.

The ceremony will be taped for a two-hour special airing Sept. 9 on CBS.
