Dierks Bentley Still Wants to Make a Difference

Looking for New Ways After Decade of Miles & Music Charity Events

The silver lining in Dierks Bentley‘s cloud is this: His 10-year ride for children’s hospitals may be over, but his heart is still in the right place.

In a message he posted on social media on Wednesday (Sept. 14), Bentley explained he is putting the brakes on his Miles & Music for Kids charity motorcycle ride and concert this year and then promised to come up with ways he and his fans can still keep making a difference together.

His collective rides in multiple cities over the past 10 years have raised close to $4 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the nation. At last year’s 10th anniversary event at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, Bentley pulled in $636,479 for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
