Brantley Gilbert: “There’s Always the Good, the Bad and the Ugly”

New Album The Devil Don’t Sleep Lands Jan. 13

Live from his one hunting trip of 2016, Brantley Gilbert announced on Facebook his new album The Devil Don’t Sleep will be released on Jan. 13.

“All my records are chapters of my life,” he said. “They tell a story. … There’s always the good, the bad and the ugly, but there’s a lot of good on this one because this last chapter of my life has been extremely positive. God has been awesome and blessed us in a lot of ways. I got married, and that’s the best thing that has ever happened to me.

“But The Devil Don’t Sleep is all about knowing that the devil’s always there and there’s always temptation. It just keeps me on my toes and it’s just kind of a constant reminder for me to move forward and keep my nose in the right direction.”

Before signing off with a salute, he said, “I’m gonna go try to kill something. Y’all be good.”

Additional details on The Devil Don’t Sleep tour with Tucker Beathard and Luke Combs will announced on Nov. 11 through Gilbert’s website.
