Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Maren Morris, Keith Urban Set for CMA Awards

They Join Hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on First List of Performers

Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Maren Morris and Keith Urban join hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood as the first performers announced for the 50th annual CMA Awards show in Nashville.

Church and Morris are each nominated in five categories. Church is up for male vocalist, album of the year (Mr. Misunderstood) and single, song and music video (all for “Record Year”). In addition to female vocalist and new artist of the year nod, Morris is also nominated for album of the year (Hero) and single and song of the year (both for “My Church”).

Bentley is nominated for male vocalist, album of the year (Black), music video (“Somewhere on a Beach”) and musical event of the year (“Different for Girls” with Elle King). Urban is nominated for entertainer of the year, male vocalist, album of the year (Ripcord) and musical event (for his collaboration with Underwood on “The Fighter”).

This year’s CMA Awards show takes place Nov. 2 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and will be broadcast live on ABC.
