Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour Awards 50 College Scholarships

Five-Time CMT Artists of the Year Honoree Supports Students from Farming Families

When Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour 2016 wraps Saturday (Oct. 15) in Effingham, Illinois, 50 college scholarships will have been awarded to students from farming families over the course of the eight-year year event.

The Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship is granted to a local college student within the communities the tour has visited.

Wednesday’s (Oct. 12) show in Batesville, Mississippi, was Bryan’s first concert back since undergoing collar bone surgery to repair a break he sustained in a mountain bike accident.

The Kill the Lights Tour wraps with two stadium concerts at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium on Oct. 22 and Detroit’s Ford Field on Oct. 29.

Bryan is a five-time CMT Artists of the Year honoree. The 2016 event airs Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
