Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood to Cover Classics at CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw and Kacey Musgraves Join Performance Lineup

Performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw and Kacey Musgraves have been added to the 50th annual CMA Awards, airing live from Nashville on Nov. 2 on ABC.

The night will also feature a live medley of country classics by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.

Ballerini is nominated for female vocalist and new artist of the year. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Brooks is nominated for the night’s top honor of entertainer of the year — an award he’s won four times.

Bryan is the reigning entertainer of year, and he is also nominated in this year’s category, as well as musical event of the year for “Home Alone Tonight” with Karen Fairchild. The CMA’s reigning vocal duo of the year Florida Georgia Line head to the show with their fourth consecutive nomination in the duo category.

Lambert is a six-time CMA female vocalist and she is nominated for her seventh trophy in the category. Little Big Town is nominated for vocal group of the year – an award they’ve won four times.

McGraw is nominated for male vocalist, single and music video of the year for “Humble and Kind.” Musgraves, 2013’s new artist of the year winner, is nominated for female vocalist of the year.

They join previously announced performers co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, as well as Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Maren Morris and Keith Urban.
