Brantley Gilbert's Ultimate "Weekend"

Singer-Songwriter Mixes a Little Real Life Into New Video

Not ready for the weekend to end? Brantley Gilbert can help you out.

Relive your best moments and keep the party going with his brand new video for “The Weekend," the first single from his upcoming album, The Devil Don't Sleep.

Bearing all the classic ingredients for a good time, the story begins with the singer at home working unsuccessfully on his vintage car, a prized Mercury Cougar, before heading out on the road for a weekend to rock out for fans who are ready to shake off the weekday grind and cut loose.

It’s a vacation for both Gilbert and the fans. As much as they love coming to hear the music and seeing the show, he might just love performing for them even more.

Everyone is ready for Friday.

"This isn’t that far off,” Gilbert says of the personal tone of the video. “I’m not a great mechanic … and I do love that old Cougar and my wife."

Of course, the end of the video brings the story full circle. You'll just have to see it for yourself.
