Margo Price brings her authenticity to a spectacular new level with her newest single, “Hands of Time.”
The haunting, autobiographical song layers her life story over sweeping strings and the purest guitar in the vein of classic country from yesterday, which is perfectly Price.
The loss of her family’s farm, her own rebelliousness and the loss of a child — all moments marked in the timeline of the tune as she longs to be able to go back to a simpler, happier time.
The video for “Hands of Time,” shot by Ben Chappell, takes us back to Price’s hometown of Aledo, Illinois, and features shots of the singer as a child and her family.
Price was just named as one of the latest additions to CMT’s Next Women of Country.
