When it comes to music, Danielle Bradbery is as colorful a tapestry as you could imagine.

Thanks to her dad, her house was full of music by the Eagles when she was a kid. Her mom had an affinity for Latin and reggae music.

When left to her own devices, Bradbery was listening to Billy Gilman or Britney Spears.

As a kid in Cypress, Texas, Bradbery was always singing … but mostly in her room. She admits that the day her mom took her to audition for The Voice, she was terrified.

But it was meant to be: after a season with Blake Shelton as her coach, Bradbery took home the crown that year.

“I still am so ‘pinch me’ because it’s a whole dream,” she said during a recent taping of CMT Next Women of Country Live. “I’ve been in a whirlwind ever since.”

Her vast array of childhood influences has molded her sound perfectly. Sweet, subtle pop tendencies, relatable and smart lyrics. She’s the total package and a breath of fresh air.
