Friday (Dec. 2) cannot get here soon enough. I mean, we’ve got CMT Crossroads: Alicia Keys and Maren Morris in our calendar with an alarm set on our phones.
To tide all of us over until Friday, we have a little sneak peek for you with their performance of Morris’ “80s Mercedes.”
And it’s just perfect.
Throughout the evening, the two also traded lead vocals on several other songs, including Morris’ “My Church” and Keys’ “Girl on Fire” and “No One.”
Morris recently snagged the best new artist trophy at the CMA Awards and is getting ready to embark on her own headlining Hero Tour next year.
It’s safe to say this girl is definitely “on fire.”
