World Premiere: Lacy Cavalier’s “Flat Bill”

Louisiana Native Displays Her Personality in New Video

We can probably all admit that we’ve gone to some crazy lengths to get the attention of the opposite sex.

Well, newcomer Lacy Cavalier is right there with us in the video for her new single. She’s hanging with her gal pal when she spots a cute guy and tries to figure out how to get his attention.

First of all, Cavalier is so beautiful, he should’ve spotted her first. However, sometimes the object of our affection is completely clueless or, in this case, a little self-absorbed.

Let this video be a lesson for all you single folks out there: If they’re more into their hair than you, then run like hell.

Cavalier is one to watch. The Louisiana-born singer began her entertainment career as a child actress, but she soon realized her real dream was performing her music on the stage. At age 15, she moved to Nashville and began working to make that dream come true.

She caught the attention of songwriter-producer Victoria Shaw, whose songwriting credits include Garth Brooks’ “The River,” Doug Stone’s “Too Busy Being in Love” and John Michael Montgomery’s “I Love the Way You Love Me.”

Together, Cavalier and Shaw are making music that appears destined to capture the attention of country music fans.

Samantha is a country radio insider with a deep love for the music and its stars. She can often be found on a red carpet or at a late-night guitar pull.
