The first thing I’d order if I was at Dierks Bentley’s newest Whiskey Row restaurant when it opens is a ’94 Chevy. It’s like a high-end Grey Goose drink with some cherries and lime, and it was named for Bentley’s Big White pickup truck. Then I’d get the Grilled Whiskey Wings, because it sounds like they’re smothered in the Row’s own whiskey hot sauce.
It’s no wonder Bentley keeps opening more Whiskey Rows. He obviously has a knack for pairing drinks, eats, music, sports, dancing, cornhole and ping-pong.
The new one, opening on Feb. 27 in Gilbert, Ariz. in the Heritage Marketplace, is his third Arizona location.
“When we opened our first Whiskey Row three years ago, I never would have guessed we’d be three bars in, in three years,” Bentley said in a press release on Tuesday (Jan. 10).
He says he’s spent a lot of time making sure each Whiskey Row is his version of “the perfect place to listen to music, watch a game or grab some great food and drinks.”
“The vibe is really unique and special, and it’s awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves at Whiskey Row,” he said.
The fourth location, according to the website, is slated for Nashville, Tenn. and will be perched at the corner of Broadway and 4th avenues, in the former home of Gruhn Guitars.
