It's hard not to cry into my coffee as I listen to Cassadee Pope's "Kisses at Airports," which she delivers perfectly for our CMT Next Women of Country Live series.

The powerful song is a beautiful observation on love, including the joy in hellos, the pain in goodbyes and the longing in between those two moments. And what better place to set a stage for those emotions that the airport, where love is never stronger or more present as people come and go, saying hellos and hard goodbyes to the ones they love.

Pope showcases her lyrical prowess and solidifies herself as a true storyteller in this tune. I don't want to spoil it or give too much away about the moving parts of the song, but it goes straight to the heart and gets real with lines like, "How many times do we take for granted?"

That's a question we should all ask ourselves every day.
