Brett Eldredge Finds Somethin’ He’s Good At

"That’s What Makes Live Music Magic.”

Lying, making toast, dancing, changing a flat — those are just a few of the things Brett Eldredge claims he can’t do in his catchy new single “Somethin’ I’m Good At.”

The song’s official music video captures Eldredge at his best — singing and making people laugh. The clip is full of physical comedy that has Eldredge heading to an office job in the morning and leaving a path of destruction in his wake. He nearly burns his house down making toast, trips the mailman and crashes a parade.

After attending one Eldredge concert, it’s easy to see what he’s great at entertaining. During a recent interview with, he said it’s exactly what he was born to do.

“One thing about my shows,” he said, “when somebody walks in the door, I want them to feel as welcomed and escaped from whatever negative thing that’s going on in their world. I want them to feel like they’re a part of the show. When they leave, they have that memory that they can go back to and I have that memory that I can go back to. That’s what makes live music magic.”

Co-written with Tom Douglas, “Somethin’ I’m Good At” is the lead single from a forthcoming album due out this summer. Eldredge’s Wednesday night (March 1) will be spent at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Luke Bryan’s Kill the Lights Tour with Brett Young.
