The past few episodes of Nashville have been hard on our Nashie hearts, but after this week’s new episode, “I’ll Fly Away,” we’re feeling hopeful that our Nashville family will be able to get through Rayna’s passing together.
Let’s take a look at the top moments from the new episode.
You can always count on Scarlett to do everything she can for the people she loves.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Watty, and while we wish it were under different circumstances, we’re glad to see him again.
Gunnar and Scarlett
While they might not be together right now, Gunnar will always be there for Scarlett, and vice versa.
The Perfect Answer
Deacon and Maddie are both (understandably) at a loss for words right now, but Maddie had the perfect answer to Deacon’s question.
Maddie and Clay
Having also lost his mother, Clay knows how to support Maddie through this terrible time.
Will and Zach
We’re liking where this is going.
Will performed “By Your Side” in Rayna’s honor, and it was wonderful.
Juliette has never been one to give up the spotlight, but she was right about this one.
Rayna meant so much to Juliette, and we were so moved by what she had to say about her.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Deacon and Daphne joined Maddie onstage to honor Rayna in song.
Teddy Steps Aside
We were all shocked when Deacon said Teddy could be Maddie and Daphne’s guardian, but we understood he just wanted to spare the girls a drawn-out battle in court. But Deacon is the girls’ father at heart, and we’re so happy Teddy finally realized it.
