While his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley had a Father of the Bride reunion with Steve Martin and Martin Short at the Grand Ole Opry, Brad Paisley paid tribute to the late great Chuck Berry in the best way he knew how — reelin’ and rockin’ “Johnny B. Goode” live at the Runaway Country Festival in Kissimmee, Florida.
Fan footage online from Saturday’s (March 18) set shows Brad picking Berry’s classic guitar breaks and then performing his signature one-legged hop down a runway that extended into the audience.
Paisley’s live tribute occurred hours after it was announced that Berry died at his home in Missouri at the age of 90.
