Meet Zac Brown's Latest Family Addition
Zac Brown didn't leave the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo without a Big Texas souvenir.
On Saturday (March 25), the front man of the Grammy-winning country band and his wife Shelly went in on the $330,000 purchase of the Junior Market Reserve Grand Champion Steer.
The steer was raised by 16-year-old Future Farmers of America member, Stock Martin from Hereford, Texas. The Browns share will share the ownership with Victoria and Parker Johnson, and Amber and Steve Mostyn.
According to the Houston Chronicle, 74,428 fans saw Zac Brown Band's closing set at the Houston Rodeo on Sunday (March 26). It was the group's sixth performance at the annual event.
The band's fifth studio album Welcome Home arrives May 12. Pre-orders come with an instant download of the lead single, "My Old Man." Produced by Dave Cobb and recorded at the Southern Ground Nashville studio, Welcome Home marks a sonic return to the band's 2008 multi-platinum debut, The Foundation.
