Charles Esten and Hayden Panettiere Broke The News to Fans and Crew Live on Set

It’s a great day to be a #Nashie!

Charles Esten and Hayden Panettiere, aka Deacon Claybourne and Juliette Barnes, exclusively told fans this afternoon that Nashville has been picked up for a sixth season!

The show will also be returning for the second half of the fifth season on June 1.

We also got an exclusive sneak peek at what’s to come in the rest of Season 5 from showrunner Marshall Herskovitz. The show will pick up 10 weeks after the events that unfolded in the midseason finale, which showed our beloved Nashville friends attempting to heal after Rayna’s tragic passing through their mutual love of her and her music.

Don’t miss the mid-season premiere of Nashville Thursday, June 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For all the latest news and information, head over to the official Nashville Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and join the conversation using #NashvilleCMT.
