Eric Church to Share the Stage Again

New Dates Include Opening Acts Brothers Osborne, Ashley McBryde

Now that Eric Church is close to the end of his one-man-show — his Holdin’ My Own Tour — he is ready to start bringing some openers out on the road with him later this year.

“This tour has been so special musically; I can honestly say I’m really gonna miss it,” Church said in a press release of his straightforward two-set tour stops with no show opener.

“That being said, I’m looking forward to sharing the bill with some artists I enjoy. It’s gonna be a fun challenge to turn a three-hour show into a shorter one that can vary drastically night-to-night,” he said.

So instead of a concert of all Church — and nothing but Church — the new dates will include Brothers Osbourne, the winner of the vocal duo and new vocal duo at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, and Ashley McBryde, who Church has called his favorite new artist.

Church will continue to add other special guests to his show in the months to come.

Here’s a list of the added tour dates announced Monday (May 1):

Sept. 2-3: Stateline, Nevada (Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys)
Sept 7: Austin (Austin 360 Amphitheater)
Sept. 8: Houston (Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion)
Sept 15:Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Tuscaloosa Amphitheater)
Sept 16: Orange Beach, Alabama (The Wharf Amphitheater)
Sept 21-22: Gilford, New Hampshire (Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion)
