Skaggs to Release Album by 12-Year-Old Musician
Skaggs Family Records will release an album by 12-year-old mandolin player Ryan Holladay on April 12. New Kid in Town
also features Holladay on lead and harmony vocals, banjo and guitar. The album includes "Midnight Radio," a song co-written
by Dierks Bentley. "Every time I hear Ryan Holladay play and sing, I'm truly amazed," said Ricky Skaggs, founder of Skaggs
Family Records. "He just keeps getting better all the time. He truly has a special gift. The best part about Ryan is that
he knows where his gift comes from." Holladay first performed on the Grand Ole Opry at age 5 and is the youngest performer
in the show's history.
