Larry Sparks to Record for Del McCoury's Label

Bluegrass singer Larry Sparks will release his next album on McCoury Music, a record label owned by Del McCoury. Sparks has been singing bluegrass for 40 years, beginning his career with the Stanley Brothers but only recently won the IBMA male vocalist trophy (in 2004 and 2005). "Larry has a style all his own, both with his singing and playing, and is one of my favorite singers of all time," McCoury said. "I am very pleased to have such a renowned musician on the roster, and I'm really looking forward to this new partnership." The album is expected to be released in the spring and will be produced by Don Rigsby.
