Blake Shelton serenaded several hundred fans during a Wednesday morning (June 6) solo acoustic concert at Nashville's Wildhorse
Saloon. Shelton's annual fan club breakfast took place on the eve of the CMA Music Festival, a four-day event in downtown
Nashville. Shelton's close relationship with his fans was abundantly clear as he cracked jokes between songs. When some rather
vocal fans began to get a little rowdy, he joked, "Security, please remove these ladies." Then to the entire crowd, he added,
"I've got a feeling that wouldn't be anything new for some of y'all." He also joked that a lot of his fans were probably hoping
to leave early to attend Craig Morgan's fan club part that was taking place down the street. Noting that Morgan has a new
hairstyle, he said, "It's like all of Rascal Flatts' hair -- on one head." Shelton's fan club presented him with a $9,500
donation to Raindance, a charity he has established in his home state of Oklahoma to assist farmers whose farms, livestock
and equipment were destroyed in wildfires in 2005 and 2006.
