Miranda Lambert
The new
Loretta Lynn tribute album coming out in November closes with a gorgeous rendition
of Lynn's "Coal Miner's Daughter," which she sings with
Miranda Lambert and
Sheryl
Crow. Lambert recently
told Rolling Stone of Lynn,
"She told me I was feisty!" Now, you don't get Loretta Lynn calling you names unless you've earned it. And Lambert's certainly
earned it. Even though she needs to get used to the fame that comes with being one of country music's leading ladies, she
also told the magazine, "I still don't think of myself as famous. I think it's also easier for me as I live on my farm in
the middle of nowhere in a very small town in Oklahoma where people know who I am, but to them I'm just Miranda."
