Green Pea Salad

½ head lettuce
¼ cup onions
¼ cup celery
¼ cup green pepper
1 can green peas, drained
¼ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
3 slices bacon fried and crumbled
1 cup salad dressing
1 tablespoon sugar

Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Add onions, celery, green pepper and peas. Mix with a wooden spoon. Spread bacon over the mixture, then spread cheese over it. Smooth salad dressing over the top to seal the edges. Sprinkle the sugar over the top.

Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
