Let me preface this by saying that I love Steven Tyler and Kid Rock. A lot. So I'm really wishing they could just get along and stop acting like fifth graders with all the name-calling and backstabbing and god knows what else they are doing when the press isn't looking. First, Kid Rock said Tyler's decision to be a judge on American Idol was "the stupidest thing he's ever done in his life. He's a sacred American institution of rock 'n' roll, and he just threw it all out the window. Just stomped on it and set it on fire. I think whoever's advising him ... we should bring back the guillotine or whatever they call that thing. And if it was himself, he needs some serious counseling. I love him to death, but I gotta speak the truth." Wow. You can't really just say "bless your heart" to that, now can you? So Tyler responded by saying, "He's just jealous, he's just jealous. And he's working his new record, so God bless him." I guess boys will be boys, and rock stars will be rock stars.
