"Not even Oprah has 800 friends," said Jimmy Kimmel on his Jimmy Kimmel Live show Tuesday night (Nov. 16). And because of the chronic overabundance of virtual friends everyone has on Facebook, he declared Wednesday as National Unfriend Day. Saying it was going to be bigger than Easter, he wanted to make sure the holiday had music to go along with it. Enter a video of Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker singing a duet in Rochester, NY. The song? "To All the Friends I've Un'ed Before." If you spend anytime on Facebook, you know exactly what kinds of "friends" this song is about. Paisley opens it with, "To all the friends I've un'ed before/Who sent me quizzes about Jersey Shore/You've made my life a hell/With your stupid LOL." Then Rucker takes over with a line about all the people from his grammar school who post shirtless pictures of themselves by the pool. It's really hysterical, unless maybe you are Neil Greenberg and Beth Chapelle, a couple of the "friends" they call out as potential unfriends. I'm guessing they won't be hitting "like" if anyone posts this link on their wall.
