Did you see Reba McEntire crying when Blake Shelton's name was announced as the male vocalist of the year at last week's CMA Awards? Really crying, not just "eyes-got-a-little-watery" crying. Well, she admits she feels a little bit like a proud mama to Shelton. "Oh, my gosh, I was squalling like a panther when they said 'Blake Shelton' because Blake and I have been friends for many years, he's a fellow Okie and I have watched his career," she told CMT Radio. She explained that her husband Narvel Blackstock and his son Brandon have been managing Shelton for years. "It was just perfect for them to manage Blake and for all of our friendships to gel," she said. It sounds like they're more than friends. It sounds like they are practically family. Reba even took to Twitter after the parties shut down following the CMA Awards to say, "Recovering from late night celebrations last night!!!!! Congrats to Blake, Narvel and Brandon!!!!! I love you!!!!"
