Jaron and the Long Road to Love ("Pray for You," "That's Beautiful to Me") has this sweet, tender ballad on his Getting Dressed in the Dark album. It's called "Petals Back on the Rose," and it's my favorite track. So last time he was in Chicago, I asked Jaron -- kind of begged actually -- to release that one as a single. He thought about it, then told me what he'd really love to do with that song is record it as a duet with LeAnn Rimes. He said she was a dream duet partner. I could see that. Her power pipes, his soulful sincerity. I can hear it already. But he also told me he'd like to sing with Chely Wright, the recently-outed lesbian country singer. Jaron said he'd like to record Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias' "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" with Wright. He was kind of joking, but it's not a bad idea at all. Would you download a song like that?
