I'd hate to be Alex Winters' parents, paying the electric bill this month. But if I was Taylor Swift, I'd be pretty flattered. Because Alex, 18, and a senior at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Fla., has given her one of the most thoughtful birthday gifts ever. He programmed the vast supply of Christmas lights outside his house to play to the tune of her "Love Story." And if you're driving by, you can even tune into 91.7 and hear the song while you're watching the lights. It was no easy task, either. He had to buy the equipment to sync everything to the music, and then there are all those extension cords running all over the house. And once it starts playing, from 6:30 to 10 each night, Winters said you can't really go upstairs because of all the lights flashing in the windows. But it was a labor of love since he's such a big Swift fan. "I just love Taylor, and this is one of my favorite songs," he told me. "The feedback from our neighbors has been all good." I like it because even though I'm sure Swift will get all kinds of gifts today (Monday) on her 21st birthday, a homemade present this elaborate has to be one of the more memorable ones.
