Oh, the sweet innocent joy of little-kid Christmas pageants. There's always the one extrovert who plays Jesus, Mary, Joseph or a wise man. Then there's usually a shy kid who prefers the roles where they are not even seen. That was totally me. And now I've come to learn, it was also Kenny Chesney. "I think one time I held the star, you know, and did it behind them. You know, I never did show my face. I was holding the star going through the night. That's all I did," CMT Radio reports. "I remember doing that one year. But all my other buddies were Joseph and Mary and all that stuff. I never did really get out on stage that much. Never really did sing in the Christmas play, and I was pretty scared to get up there then." It's tough to imagine a time when Mr. Sold-Out Stadium Show wasn't comfortable on a tiny stage. He has certainly come out of his shell.
