(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)
You know how embarrassing it is when you are belting out a song alone in your car and suddenly realize someone's watching you? Judging you? Laughing at you? Well, how bad would it suck if that someone was the song's actual singer? That's what Lady Antebellum frontman Charles Kelley wants. He wants to catch someone singing one of his songs. CMT Radio reports that Kelley said, "I want that to happen so bad, and it never happens because I've really had that moment where I'm like, 'Man, right now I'm going to pull down my window, and that would be the coolest feeling in the world.'" I think Kelley might feel differently if it was me he heard singing. I'm not that bad of a dashboard drummer, but my car radio singalong voice is bad. Like nails-on-a-chalkboard bad. Especially so when I'm trying to reach his falsetto on "I Run to You."
