She does the mismatching on purpose. Taylor Swift recently told CMT Radio she's almost done decorating her first on-her-own home in Nashville, and she is very happy with how it all came together. And it all came together just how she wanted it. "For me, I just kind of wanted it to look like a pirate ship-slash-Alice in Wonderland-slash-an old antique store-slash-sort of like a fortuneteller's house-slash-a tree house-slash-a birdcage-slash-a garden ... just a very mismatched place," Swift said of her new decor. Which, on paper, sounds like it might end up looking like an episode of A&E's Hoarders. But in reality, I'm sure Swift's creative flair turned her condo into glamorous-slash-homey kind of home that's just right for a musician-slash-songwriter-slash-artist.
