By now, we all know what a consummate foodie Zac Brown is. But his guitar player, Clay Cook? He doesn't have quite the same sophisticated palate and dedication to organic foods that Brown does. "Like he'll jump on some Oreo Cakesters," Brown said recently of Cook's appetite for the soft snack cakes. "He'll jump into a whole box of those. It's kind of like an addict, every once in a while. And he has to find the most horrible thing in the world for him and gorge it down." But they're trying to get him to change his ways. Even fiddle player Jimmy De Martini, a certified trainer, helps the guys in the band work out when they are on the road. And now that I know this about Cook's taste for Cakesters, I like him even more. He's kind of an open book on Tumblr, where he defines himself thusly: "Clay Cook is an average musician playing in an above average band."
